Aeons ago a little Gastly came to life. When he looked

around he saw the face of a gentle Haunter. Haunter

told him that he was a descendent of the guardian

spirits, whom where the protectors of the scource of

all life, the stream of eternal youth. The little

Gastly did hardly understand where the big Haunter was

talking about...

The scource of all life, the eternal breath, was a

well hidden relic, and a legend in the human world.

Many brave knights and evil thieves persued that

legend. Haunter learned the little Gastly that they

must never allow a human being even near the well...

After a few decades, Haunter and Gastly became the

best of friends, and they chased away all the unwanted

visitors. But, one day, an evil sorceror appeared, and

all that he wanted was... eternal youth...

Normal human beings are no match for two ghostpokémon,

but this sorceror had unknown, uncanny powers. As he

and his army of the dead engaged tho two, he casted an

evil spell towards the little gastly. In the heat of

the battle he did not see it coming, but Haunter did,

and at the critical moment he threw himself before

Gastly. Haunter dissolved, leaving the little Gastly

behind alone....

Before Gastly knew what happened, the sorceror had

reached the well and he drank of the eternal breath.

Gastly knew he was no match for the sorceror at this

moment, so he had to run away. He flew around the

earth, deeply grieved, because of the loss of his best

friend, Haunter...

Gastly traveled across the lands, which were now ruled

and abused by the sorceror. He travelled to gain power

and knowledge, because he knew, that one day, he would

challenge the sorceror. He was after all a descendent

of the guardian spirits, he had to protect the week...

Finally, he found the one relic that could capture and

confine the sorceror. When he challenged the sorceror,

an epic battle started. Though Gastly had trained

thouroughly, he was still not strong enough, but at

the moment he thought he would loose it, he saw the

face of his fallen comrade...

Suddenly, a white glow surrounded Gastly and he felt

the powers of his comrade flowing into him. Gastly

evolved into a Haunter, the )-(aunter you all know...

With these new powers the battle started again, more

destructive then ever before, and finally, after a

long battle, )-(aunter emerged victorious, having the

sorceror confined...

But, )-(aunter knew that he could not win the battle

against evil alone. Because of his bloodline he was

destined to protect the weak and innocent. Therefor he

went looking for allies in his eternal battle...

And, he found them... All in the clan of Immortality,

and from that day on, He was known as:
