| In October we decided to work to a situation where every councilor may replace another in any circumstance. In effect this means that the division along specific task lines will be abolished in the council. Because of the fact there are now 4 divisions of the clan that are being ruled by outstanding leaders our role changes to a more general leadership. This means that each councilor can be addressed to deal with a specific problem in game. And you may receive an answer from any of us when you post to the council e-mail. In effect this has been the case since our change and new members are not aware that we ever had this strict division at all. Also because of the constant arguing and bickering on the forum we reinstalled the 2 minutes flood control on the forum. On the more positive side we have installed a new intro screen for our site depicting the 4 divisions of the clan.
DIABLO: Because of the 5th birthday of clan Moralltach we were invited to a Diablo 1 retro tournament. The idea appealed to many but unfortunately because of a Warcraft III tournament the actual tournament was canceled at the last moment. In this month Freedom after long and hard work became count. Tyrael proposed a tournament to create stronger relations between Doaine Sidhe and Immortality and started working on the organization of that event. DAOC: After a difficult time the DAOC division finally starts to prosper. The upcoming expansion Shrouded Isles will be a huge improvement of the game in gameplay and in visual splendor. Duke Valandir asked the Council to improve and update the ancient DAOC site made by Farseer. Because of Farseer’s busy schedule Azcon offered to help. On a more negative front, our alliance in DAOC named The Fellowship is falling apart. UO: In October the UO division grew further. The reputation of the guild growing with it. Because of the larger guild Duke Dragonking decided to hold two guild hunts every week.. The scenario ended and left us with the most versatile ride to date. On the housing front Duke Dragonking provided the division with another acquisition near Cove were from now on the new recruits have their barracks. WC3: In October Duke Holywolf organized the second WC3 tournament of the clan and although some late cancellations hindered the ladder it did not hinder the fun. Zen and Minion defended our clan’s honor in the final but were not able to defeat Acid and Magefrink from clan Moralltach. Also in this month patch 1.03 came out with some great improvements to the game. |
