| In this month we discussed the remake of the Hall of the Immortals and the medal situation. We agreed upon a total redesign of that section to make it more visual pleasing. Farseer and Albertus started working on it and will create a new form of medal page were every member will have his/her own medal case. Furthermore the Hall of the Immortals will be reserved for great members and deeds in the form of artwork, sculptures and the like. When those pages are ready we will hold a special clan meeting also in cooperation with the CG, and honor those members who wait for their medals too long already. Haunter stepped forward and offered his skills in creating the medal pictures.
In this month we had a sort of forum war concerning post and dot-hunting. The forum was never used that much and it was almost impossible to remove yourself from the forum as you would be covered in new messages if you returned. It was great fun but after getting some complaints we asked people to post in one thread and that worked quite well. Hence the creation of our now famous ‘pointless threads’. On the downside this month , Dennizon and Albertus had a lengthy debate on our forum with the former King of the Fianna about him spamming the OS forum. To make a long story short, the debate became unfriendly and any attempts made by Albertus to get the situation solved on ICQ fell on deaf ears. Also this month the forum disappeared and therefore also all the threads on it. Farseer tried to correct the error and install a new version of the forum but due to reasons unknown to him could not make it work. After working for several days on it and doing everything by the book the only thing to do was to reinstall our old version. Farseer in the mean time will try and find out why we seem to be unable to upgrade our forum. |
