| This month the clan a whole took the next step returning back to what people expect us to have concerning members and structure. In the last year this was neglected too much resulting in a brief leaving of councilor Vadrigald because of it. The council decided to confront this on two levels. First the implementation and activation of existing rules to augment the structure. Secondly address our members on several issues ranging from activity to behavior. Also we implemented a new honorary rank for those that served the council over the years but are no longer in the council. This new honorary rank – Elder will be given to all that were previous councilors. Also Dennizon asked the clan and the members to provide a self Role Play portrait and the reaction was overwhelming.
Diablo: This month councilor Dennizon ventured into the lands of Diablo again to much joy of the members there. The division also got a short boost as well by the influx of other DAOC players wanting to play something else as well for a brief moment. DAOC: This month we got some problems with a new guild Crymorenoobs who basically, while just established on our server, for whatever reason thought it would be fitting to slander our name in the realm as well as the VN boards. This issue died quickly as they realized that this was no good way to get embedded into our realm encountering the overall good reputation of our clan. Also, Because of the structural changes mentioned above, Duke Valandir together with the council decided to step down from nobility and become a Knight again. With his failing interest in the game and his different play style from the rest of the clan made his leadership in the division not effective any longer. Also on the same road, we addressed the new problems facing us concerning ToA and the greed driven incentive it offered the players. As such we introduced a probation period the division mainly giving members a one month period to show us that they are true Immortals. On a positive note, Rye organized yet another Dragonraid this month, and after many months of negotiations we joined the Excalibur Alliance. UO: Duke Dragonking finished the THB section of the site and located a public treaser hunt library not fat to the south of Cove. Many customers flocked to the guild and treasure hunt raids were conducted almost daily. WC3/WoW: With the Worlds of Warcraft beta in full swing many people started to wonder wich side they were going to play, Horde or Alliance. We got a great cinematic preview of the game and Elder Jurek provided us with an in game report as he was playing the game on the warforge server. His initial reports were quite enthusiastic. |
