| With the summer on the way one would expect activities to slow down but just the contrary happened. On the main forum several threads were posted about interesting looking new games and projects like Lord of the Rings online. In Guild Wars, we entered a Kurzick alliance with the First Clan of the United Knights alliance. While we were less pleased with the tag of the leading clan at first this alliance seemed to be working and the goals realistic. However over the month it became clear the alliance leadership was never shared and guilds booted and invited in without consultation or explanation. This resulted in a huge drop in member guilds to the point there were only four clans in the alliance. On a meeting addressing this issue, an unrealistic goal was set to try to obtain as much faction to own a town with the alliance. RoI’s concerns were not taken seriously at all and the alliance leader, Fred the Slayer, walked out on the meeting. Later we found out that he was slandering our name on the alliance forums. As such we had no other option then to leave the alliance and enter a new one The Guardians of the Brave. Also in this month RoI reached the milestone of 100k Kurzick faction. Also in a frantic recruiting spree we doubled or almost tripled our memberbase. |
