| In the recent months the work to create the three new divisions took epic proportions. If we considered the work done by many that is. Duke Dragonking is working on the UO site, Farseer on the DAOC site, Holywolf on the Warcraft III site, Haunter and Albertus on the medal cases, Ghostkillah is working to create a new memberlist/database, Th3God is creating a logo for the UO site. Dennizon is taking up and revamping the CG site. And Albertus is writing new rules, working on the medalcases. On top of that we have had meetings with all above and more. At times progress seems slow but if you indeed consider the load of work we took on it amazes me how great a progress we made so far.
-In the recent month our forum again surpassed previous records in activity. The soccer threads were almost more up to date then Eurosport. Also a top 10 frenzy was started by Excidium and quickly followed by Microchip who seemingly cant stop inventing new ones. In the last month we abandoned the idea to create separate forums for the different divisions. The reasoning behind this was and is that a forum index of 8 different forums simply erodes the easy access out forums have now. Of course if for whatever reason we may need to create a separate forum we will certainly do so. Unfortunately also bad news due to actions taking by Will aka Bubbles(I) on the Orcish Sword forum we were forced to call in a Tribunal session last week. Baron Minion defended Will. The charges to Will included the insult of a Noble in which court he did not reside, disrespect rendered to an ally, disrespect rendered to the Council and for bringing reproach upon the clan by means of spoken word. The session took almost 4,5 hours and finally Will received the following verdict. Will received 19 Mark of Dishonors meaning he can remain a clansman but just barely. As long as he has 15 MODS or more he may not receive medals and awards. As long as Will has MODS he may not promote although he can collect reputation points. Each week we will deduct 1 MOD from this tally. For extraordinary accomplishments or service we may deduct more MODS, at our convenience. If during the time that Will has MODS he does harm again to his clan he will be removed from the clan in a dishonorable fashion. Its the Councils hope that this will be a new start for Will and urge others to help him in making this change happen. DIABLO: Baron Freedom and Minion will together take care of the Diablo II division as long as there is no Duke for that division available. With the council they will make day-to-day decisions. From this month on to the time a new duke is established each noble may check general quests AND each other. On the downside, Maximus lost all his accounts due to theft and that meant he would not enter Battle Net anytime soon. On the positive site, Blizzard announced that if players are found using hacks (any hacks) on Battle Net they will be tagged and severely hindered in joining other games. They will only be allowed to play with gamers that also are tagged as using hacks. DAOC: Duke Maximus made it clear he did not want to lead the Diablo section due to the lack of interest in that specific game. So we offered him to be the DAOC duke and he gladly accepted.. Tr4nz-Nrg has become the DAoC Baron. All nobles in DAOC will get the right to recruit. Eleven Immortals are playing DAoC at the moment, one of them left recently (Tarkus, we hope you will return some day) but I hope we will have the privilege to welcome him back some day. These ten remaining Immortals are all of the four Councilors (Dennizon, Farseer, Vadrigald and Albertus), our DAoC Baron Tr4nz-Nrg, Council-guard Phoenix, Kitana (although she kind of inactive at the moment I believe...), Syfer (he is active in a midgard realm), one of our newest guild members Holythoughts and of course Maximus the DAoC duke. A new a PvP server was established for the people who are really fond of this kind of action. But it's very dangerous out there especially for a small guild like us since you can be slain in your own realm. So most likely we won't be expanding there for a while, at least not until we have grown a bit. UO: This month we had some spectacular luck. Dennizon visited our division there and was pleased with the work we have done. Later that week he got himself a nice small tower as a gift from another player located near Cove, our hometown. Then Albertus ran into a small tower almost next to that one of Dennizon so after a few messages we sold his house near Vesper and bought the one near Cove. Also bought a small tower that serves as a barrack for our other members close to the Guildtower: Dragoncastle. WARCRAFT 3: The clan will play on one server namely battle.net Europe. We've decided to remove the council guard from the WarCraft III section, because we don't see any use of it in this section, however we do want to keep the First Knight rank. New members that join the clan will be pageboy and after a month automatically promoted to squire, however he'll still be recruit. He can promote by making points and knight will be a full member. This is a start of coarse and we will develop everything in the first few weeks of the release of WC3. We'll call the first weeks a probation period, so let's call it under construction the first 2 weeks. |
