| In august some members were still on holiday and many were slowly returning and posting their holiday pics (most of them exotic). Now all the four divisions are equally established and thriving. The holiday season is now really behind us and that means we are now in the fourth year of the clan’s existence. That means we are becoming an ‘older’ clan. In the last months did some of the oldest clans we know from the Diablo 1 time disappear. Most noteworthy of course the disappearance of the Storm Clouds and the Brotherhood of the Dwarfian Jedi. We will keep those clans on our allies list for times to come to honor the friendship we had and have with the individual members of these clans.
Dennizon started in this month with a secret project that will take months perhaps even years. For that, and the new map he is working on, he needed Role Play Names from the members and that brought with it the wish to change aliases by many. So Maximus became Valandir, Summoner became Death Knight and FallenAngel now goes by the name of Caduto. In this month we also had frantic debates on the forum about several topics. The most important ones were foreign politics of president Bush and the hacking situation in Diablo 2. Although sometimes the debate went a bit overboard and there was some conflict about it, formost between Microchip and Freedom with the Council. Tensions rose high sometimes but after a meeting between all parties things settled down quickly. Also in August the UO division got its great site made by Dragonking. We asked Holywolf if he wanted to make the UO banner and he wholeheartedly began working at the job. |
