| This month marked the end of the vacation period for a lot of members and many clan members returned from their RL vacation. In the last 2 months the rules and structure of the clan had been in ‘hibernation’ to accommodate the slower pace of the remaining clan members not on holiday. In this the last month the Council itself decided upon some important changes for the clan , the quest system for example changed drastically. The main change a drastic lowering of item quest points to accommodate the more frequent item find in LoD.
On top of that have held many Council meetings discussing the basis of the clan namely PK hunting. Count Armorshard approached the council with a plan to make our clan more adept in this aspect and the Council bgan working with him on this plan. During the Vacation period Blizzard launched a new patch 1.09. Days later Blizzard restricted the characters you can use for your accountname. Again we were struck by , in my eyes anyway, unthoughtful actions to hinder clans with no immediate obvious benefit for Blizzard. In any case we had to say goodbye to our tag ~(I) which we used for 2 years. We now are forced to use the plain (I) tag in our (new) accountnames. Of course old accountnames do not have to change and you can therefore keep using them. In this month the Council became also worried as it seemed quick leveling and item gathering was more important then gaming with your friends and fellow clansmen. To try to remedy this the Council has decided to create solutions to stimulate group play. Albertus and Vadrigald began working on the quest and rankingsystem concerning this issue. The Council decided to look into the nobility and promotions in the clan. In the months to come not only game skills and Council decisions will be the deciding factor in noble promotions but also other (also non game) skills and quests are required. Last but not least , The Council decided to actively restate the very purpose of ROI. PKK'ing. Like most other PKK clans, this clan was started to more effectively battle the constant threat of PK's. Lately the PKK spirit of our clan has faded away a bit, and there haven’t been a pkk report for quite a while. Future quests will be aimed at rewarding members for battling and defeating player-killers, helping other clans out in this area, and so forth. |
