The Dragon Tournament

Create a lvl 1 HC char. Drop all items in town, weapons and shield. You recieve 8 identical items such as scrolls or pots (each person gets a different set of 8 items) . When it is your turn you have to run as far as you can avoiding monsters. You have to collect Way Points's and drop one (1) of your items at the Way Point to prove you were there. The one that reaches the farthest* will win.

- It is forbidden to run back into previous levels (so cold plains -->blood moor is forbidden). You may backtrack in the same lvl to avoid monsters though.

- it is forbidden to fight monsters or pick up weapons. You may open chests and pick up potions though.

- You may not hinder other runners.

- If you win the game but die anyway you can of course recreate/make a new lvl 1 HC for the next round

- You cannot re-enter the game again if you drop and neither will you get a rerun if you die due to lag or other misfortunes of Battle Net. One exeption on this is when the game drops altogether. Then all runners may run again, even those who died already.

1st Round

4 games will be created by a CG or other organiser. Five (5) tournament players enter the game. Teams are formed how they appear to the channel co-ordinator from top till bottom. The members in the team will run together with the CG trailing them to witness their progress. The one that comes the farthest will be the winner of this league and have to run again in the second round. If there are more teams waiting in the channel this process is repeated until all teams have played.

2nd Round

A new set of games will be recreated. Four (4) winners of the first round enter a single game. Again all will run with the CG or other organiser trailing behind to watch progress. Again the one that comes the farthest* will win and proceed to the next round. If there are more teams waiting in the channel this process is repeated until all teams have played.

3rd Round

(and subsequent rounds)

We repeat the process like the 2nd round. Until there are 4 winners left. Then one (1) game will be created. The winners now will run again. One CG or other organiser will trail the runners. The one that runs the farthest will win the tournament.

*Farthest = not only in distance but also in TIME that a player survives. If a player stays alive longer but dies on the exact same spot as an earlier runner he will still win.

The Prize

The Dragons Souls Medallion - By Dragonking~(I)

I, DragonKing~(I), am Duke in the clan Immortality and ruler in the Shire of the Dragons. When I was young I received from the dragon lord Acidius the Dragon's Soul Medallion because I saved him from a terrible curse. This medallion gives the one that it wears the power of Immortality. I used this medallion only on the battlegrounds of B.net to vanquish the demon lord Diablo. It has served me well in the passing years but it is time to pass this medallion on to the next generation of great warriors. Therefore the winner of the tournament will receive my medallion so everyone can see that he/she is indeed a great warrior. Also are there some truly great advantages that comes with the medallion:

· If you are not a member of Immortality then you become an honorary member of the Clan Immortality in the Shire of the Dragons where I rule. If you are a member of Immortality (living in Shire of the Dragon or not) become also an honorary member of the Shire of the Dragons. The wearer of the medallion has the honor of wearing the colors of the clan (tag) even if the member is a member of another clan or guild. This of course with the permission of their own clan/guild leaders.

· The wearer of the medallion gets the power to create quests in the Shire of the Dragons and may participate in the quests that are already there.

· The name of the great warrior that will receive the medallion will be written in our hall of fame as he/she is truly a brave warrior.

These benefits that comes with the medallion will no-one else receive, this is an one time event and only comes with this medallion. I hope that the new owners of the medallion will treasure it as I did and use it wise since there are great powers behind it.
